Why I am Blowing Up my Brand (and Starting Fresh)


🌶️ The Nudge I Didn't Know I Needed

Hey Reader,

There’s been a rebrand quietly simmering in the background for over a year.

We had the name. We had the vision. But it stayed cooking on the back burner until one DM nudged it past the tipping point.

I was catching up with friend and entrepreneur Corey Hiben. We were swapping business updates and sharing war stories. I listed what we’d been working on: Strategy, Studios, Hot Sauce Editing.

Then he said: Hot sauce editing?! Haha what a name!! ​
Then I said something like this:

“Honestly, I’ve been tempted to call the whole thing [REDACTED].”

His reply?

“I can’t see why you WOULDN’T?! It’s catchy as a MF.”

That was the moment it clicked.
No whiteboard sessions. No brand retreats. Just a gut-check from someone who got it.

The old brand wasn’t wrong. It was just too safe and a bit stale. It didn’t reflect the clarity, confidence, and transformation we’d been delivering.

So I made the call.

The new brand launches June 1.
You’ll hear the name soon enough, but not just yet.

Tomorrow, I’ll break down what's new, what’s changing, and what’s staying right as it is.

The brand is changing. The mission isn’t.
